We solve heat transfer problems for static or transient temperature fields in 2D and 3D. Beside typical conduction, convection and radiation applications in solids and fluids we have broad experience in coupled problems like thermo-mechanical problems or TFSI (thermal-fluid-structure interations). This includes the following effects:

  • Thermal stresses caused by viscous dissipation of fluids (TFSI)

  • Internal heat generation due to plastic deformation of the material.

  • Heat transfer between contacting bodies.

  • Surface heat generation due to friction on the contacting surfaces.
