Structure analysis 1: 3D O-Ring Compression in Plastic Body

Example 1 shows the compression of an O-Ring into a plastic body. This problem demonstrates our capabilities for nonlinear structural analysis. The model includes

• Large displacement and large strain

• Incompressible and hyperelastic rubber (u/p-formulation)

• Plastic strain in the plastic body

• Contact between the O-Ring and plastic body
