Fluid Structure
Interactions (FSI-Modeling)
We
have broad experience in modeling
FSI-problems (s. also list of papers). These techniques have been used successfully in many areas of
application, including automotive, industrial and medical fields.
Technical application where Fluid-Structure interactions occur, are
often rather complex. To model those applications efficiently long-term
experience is necessary.
We conducted FSI-projects
for the following applications:
-
Membrane pumps,
-
Fluid-rubber damping
applications (Hydro mounts),
-
Valve interactions in high
pressure pumps (up to 3000 bar) ,
-
Medical investigations (e.g.
blood pressure measurement effects on artery flow),
-
Fluid driven motion devices,
-
Flow induced vibrations,
-
Flow against moveable
components and deformations caused by fluids.
Depending on the problem we use high quality
solution methods for efficient modeling and reliable results.
